R&D anyone? Warning that you'll need extra protection for your bags when running this product... While the concept of this is amazing to keep small items for day rides snug and down low. My intention to run two small dry bags for tools on the side. Not thinking about it there's 2 bolts with collars that stick out enough and over the course of a weekend rubbed holes into my 4L side dry bags.

These have to be one of my favorite add ons to my 1090!
The fitment is perfect and the design is genius. This allows me to not only carry smaller items out of the way, it fills the void between the bike and reckless saddle bags. Well done!
